Before diving into specifics, try these first:

  1. Refresh the page — Press F5 or pull down to refresh on mobile
  2. Check your internet — Make sure you're connected
  3. Wait a moment — The game may be loading slowly on a weak connection
  4. Try again later — Rarely, our servers may be temporarily busy

Browser Support

The language game works best on modern browsers. Here's what's supported:

Game Not Displaying Correctly

  • Rotate your phone — Some challenges look better in portrait mode
  • Zoom out — Pinch to zoom out if content is cut off
  • Disable text scaling — Large text settings in your phone's accessibility can break layouts

App-Like Experience

For the best mobile experience, add TutorLingua to your home screen:

iPhone:

  1. Open tutorlingua.co in Safari
  2. Tap the Share button
  3. Select "Add to Home Screen"

Android:

  1. Open tutorlingua.co in Chrome
  2. Tap the menu (three dots)
  3. Select "Add to Home screen"

Slow Connection

The game requires an internet connection. On slow networks:

  • Audio challenges may take longer to load
  • Images might appear blurry at first, then sharpen
  • Submissions may take a few seconds to register

If you're on a very slow connection (under 1 Mbps), some challenges may time out. Try switching to Wi-Fi if you're on mobile data.

Clearing Your Cache

A corrupted cache can cause loading issues:

Chrome

  1. Click the three-dot menu > Settings
  2. Privacy and security > Clear browsing data
  3. Select "Cached images and files"
  4. Click "Clear data"

Safari

  1. Settings > Safari
  2. Tap "Clear History and Website Data"

Firefox

  1. Click the menu > Settings
  2. Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  3. Click "Clear Data"

After clearing, reload the game page.

JavaScript Must Be Enabled

The game requires JavaScript. If you've disabled it (or a browser extension has):

  1. Open your browser settings
  2. Search for "JavaScript"
  3. Make sure it's set to "Allowed"
