AI Tools Overview

TutorLingua's AI tools are designed to save you time and help you teach more effectively. They handle the repetitive admin so you can focus on what you do best — teaching.

All AI tools are available from your Dashboard.

Lesson Planner

The AI lesson planner generates a structured lesson plan based on the student's level, goals, and previous sessions.

How to Use It

1. Open a student's profile
2. Click Plan Lesson
3. Set the lesson parameters:
   • Student level (beginner, intermediate, advanced)
   • Focus area (grammar, conversation, vocabulary, exam prep)
   • Duration
   • Any specific topics
4. Click Generate

The AI creates a complete lesson plan with:

• Warm-up activity (5 minutes)
• Main content with exercises
• Practice activities
• Cool-down and homework suggestions
• Materials and resources to use

You can edit the plan, save it, and reuse it for other students.

Teaching Copilot

The copilot assists you during lessons with real-time suggestions:

• Vocabulary prompts — Relevant words and phrases to introduce
• Grammar explanations — Clear, student-friendly explanations
• Correction suggestions — Tactful ways to correct common errors
• Conversation starters — When the chat runs dry

Access the copilot from the lesson view. It runs quietly in the background and only shows suggestions when relevant.

Auto-Homework

Generate homework assignments automatically based on what you covered in a lesson:

1. After completing a lesson, click Generate Homework
2. Review the suggested exercises
3. Edit if needed
4. Click Assign to send to the student

The AI considers:

• Topics covered in the lesson
• Student's weak areas
• Appropriate difficulty level
• Variety of exercise types (writing, listening, translation)

Students receive an email notification and can complete homework in their dashboard.

Student Progress Reports

Generate detailed progress reports to share with students or their parents:

1. Go to the student's profile
2. Click Generate Report
3. Select the time period
4. Review and customise

Reports include:

• Lessons completed
• Topics covered
• Strengths and improvements
• Vocabulary growth
• Recommended next steps
• Overall assessment

Reports can be downloaded as PDF or shared directly with the student.

Profile Analyser

The profile analyser reviews your tutor profile and suggests improvements:

• Bio clarity and completeness
• Photo quality assessment
• Service descriptions
• Pricing competitiveness
• SEO suggestions for better discoverability

Run it from Settings > Profile > Analyse My Profile.

3. Customise — Edit AI-generated content to match your voice and style
4. Use consistently — Regular use improves recommendations over time
