How to use it
Disolver in the political/institutional sense means 'to dissolve' or 'to disband' — formally bringing an institution, organisation, or body to an end. Common objects: el parlamento, una empresa, una manifestación, una organización. Also used in chemistry (disolver en agua = dissolve in water), but the institutional sense is the key B2 target.
Common mistake
Disolver has a chemical sense (dissolve a substance in liquid) and an institutional/political sense (dissolve a body). The B2 institutional sense is the priority. Disolver vs. desmantelar: disolver is a formal, often legal act; desmantelar implies systematic dismantling piece by piece.
