How to use it

Allí means 'there' (far from speaker, specific point). Carries an accent on the í. Distinct from ahí (closer there) and allá (general / vague over there).

Common mistake

Three Spanish 'theres': aquí (here), ahí (close-there), allí (far-specific-there), allá (vague-far-there). English just has 'there' / 'over there'.
