How to use it
Gracias means 'thank you'. Always plural in form (literally 'thanks'), never *gracia. Strengthen with muchas gracias (thanks a lot) or muchísimas gracias (thanks a million).
Common mistake
Use por (not para) for the reason behind a thank-you: 'gracias por la ayuda', never 'gracias para la ayuda'.
