How to use it
Saber means 'to know' (facts, information, skills). Irregular 1sg sé (with accent). Distinct from conocer ('to know' = to be familiar with).
Common mistake
Use saber for facts/skills ('know how to' = saber + infinitive). Use conocer for 'know a person/place' ('I know María' = conozco a María, not 'sé a María').
