one
Example sentences
Tengo uno.

How to use it
Uno is the cardinal number 'one'. Before a masculine singular noun it drops to un (un libro); before a feminine singular noun it becomes una (una mesa). Standalone, while counting, or after the noun it stays uno.
Common mistake
Don't say 'uno libro' before a masculine noun — drop to 'un'. The same word becomes 'una' before a feminine noun.
