How to use it
'Nulo/a' means null, void, or zero. Used with ser. Legal contexts: 'nulo y sin efecto' (null and void). In sport, 'gol nulo' (disallowed goal). In general use it can colloquially mean terrible (soy nulo para la música = I am terrible at music).
Common mistake
Don't confuse 'nulo' (null/void/nil) with 'ninguno' (none/no) — 'nulo' implies the thing exists but has no value or is invalidated.
