El informativo (noun, masculine, from the adjective informativo/a) means a 'news bulletin' or 'news programme' on radio or TV: el informativo de la noche, ver el informativo. The same word also functions as an adjective: una campaña informativa (an informational campaign).
Common mistake
Informativo functions both as a noun (el informativo, a news programme) and as an adjective (una reunión informativa, an informational meeting) — the article and context show which one is meant.
